All around the world, pretty girls wipe the floor with all the boys, pour the drinks, bring the noise… we’re just so pretty!
Britney Spears’ long-awaited (literally, it’s been seven months) collaboration with rapper Iggy Azalea has officially dropped, so stop what you’re doing and prep yourself for this, like, really cool and fun urban track, you know?
If that simplistic, synth-heavy sound is giving you deja vu, it’s probably because the song is produced by The Invisible Men, the brains behind Iggy’s previous hits ‘Fancy’ and ‘Beg For It’. The song is more of a continuation of current trends than a fresh new sound but, let’s be honest, after the could’ve-been-anyone wasted opportunity that was Robotney Jean, most fans will be happy just to get a decent, signature hit – and this is Britney doing what Britney does best.
The track’s music video is set to release next week, while the duo will give a debut performance of the single at the annual Billboard Music Awards on May 17, which will be Britney’s first televised performance in four years.
